November Math Centers are perfect for the fall! I intentionally designed these resources to include the skills that are covered during the month of November.  Activities in this post are part of the Kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade series.

Our November Math Centers

There are November-themed math centers aligned with Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grade standards. Each comes in digital and printed formats, with full-color and black-and-white options. Every center includes a direction sign, recording sheet, and answer key. With Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grade versions, these centers make it easy to differentiate math skills for learners, offering flexible options to support students at various levels.

Place Value

1st grade students will count and compare pictures of objects using the greater than, less than and equal to symbols when they play the game Fall Values.

In 2nd grade's Build the Number, students build 3 digit numbers using base ten blocks and record their responses.

Or, try the Kindergarten version focusing on the use of base ten blocks.

Addition

Combining dice rolling with addition is always an engaging combination. For 1st grade or students who need addition review, try Roll & Add. Students roll three dice to practice adding three numbers. For those ready to move on at a 2nd grade level, it's time for Roll & Compare, in which students roll dice to build 2 digit numbers and compare them using greater, less, and equal signs.

Kindergarteners will enjoy hands-on addition practice.

Build a Turkey

Students build turkeys by solving for the sum of 2 digit numbers. The 1st grade version of the focuses on solving for small sums 7-10, while the 2nd grade version has students adding in the double digits.

Missing Addends

With Balancing Act's cute pumpkin theme, students will use the 1st grade version to solve for missing addends to create balanced equations.

In the 2nd grade version, students write the missing addend in an addition sentence to create a true balanced equation.

Fact Families

Try Welcome Home, in which students use given numbers to complete a fact family house. In the 2nd grade version, Students build fact families using 2 digit numbers.

Telling Time

In Pumpkin Matching, Students match task cards with digital and analog times on them. The 1st grade version sticks with times to the hour, while the 2nd grade version extends into the nearest 5 minutes.

Skip Counting

Students select number strips and find the 2 digit number that is missing.

Your centers always look like such fun! I am having difficulty loading the freebie. When I get to it on google, it just a bunch of letter, symbols and numbers. It reminds me of The Matrix and I expect to see Keanu Reeves! Lol
