Helping your lucky little learners with their spelling lists doesn't have to be boring! Now that you have started remote learning with your students, there are so many ways you can help them learn their spelling words while providing engaging, fun lessons and activities. No matter what words are on your students' spelling lists, there are spelling activities for remote learning your students will love!

Spelling Toothy®
If you've tried any of the digital toothy task cards, you know how much students love these self-directed learning activities! When your students spell their words correctly, Toothy gets a tooth in her mouth. If not, your lucky little learners try again until they are able to spell the word correctly!

Ghost Spelling
With the magic of white type on the screen, your students can practice all their spelling words easily while having fun! First, have your students type their spelling words in white type on their digital “Ghost Spelling” sheet. Then, they will change the background color in each box so the words magically appear! Learning spelling words has never been this fun!

Creative Spelling
Primary students love using fun fonts on the computer. First, have your students roll the digital dice (linked with the activities) and type the word in a creative way that relates to the dice roll. Have students come up with their own choices or give them options to choose from.

ABC Order
This activity not only teaches spelling; it also helps your students understand alphabetical order. Begin by giving your students their word list. Then, have your students type the words in alphabetical order on their digital “ABC order” worksheet.

Roll It
Another dice activity will help your students practice their six trickiest spelling words. Words chosen can be different for each student. Start by having them type six words at the top of the “Roll It” sheet under the numbers 1-6. Then, your students will roll their dice. Next, they'll type the word under the corresponding number column. Students will continue the process until the sheet is filled.

In addition to these engaging spelling activities, the digital spelling activities bundle also includes the following activities:
- Study the Word
- Write your Words

Good Afternoon,
I am teaching a Grade 4/5 split this year. Now that we have to go online I would like to access word work online to assign students. Is this resource appropriate for Grade 4/5? I am interested in the bundle if it is appropriate; what would that cost?
Thank you
