How to Use Spiral Math Review Sheets
Differentiation
The first thing to notice, there are three levels for each week. The little shape in the top right-hand corner lets you know what level that page is tailored to. The skills reviewed during each week are the same but the complexity changes at each level.
- Star: Below Grade Level
- Heart: At Grade Level
- Apple: Above Grade Level
Daily Use
Second, each page spans an entire week of instruction. This cuts down on printing which is always a win. Students complete one row a day.
Independence
To make things easier for you and your learners, the directions given for each problem are written in simple and concise language that most of your students will be able to read. Also, there is repetition in types of problems during each week to give your learners consistency. Both of these things will help your students work more independently.
Answer Keys
Once your students have completed their daily review, the next step is up to you. You can grade it or give students access to the included answer keys to make it self-grading.
