Grammar instruction can sometimes feel frustrating—teachers plan lots of activities, but students often find grammar boring or hard to stick with. Sound familiar?
Good news! We have the perfect grammar activity that’s both engaging for students and easy for teachers to plan: Grammar Toothy!! (Keep reading for a FREE Grammar Toothy download!)

Enhance Literacy with Embedded Grammar Lessons
Research shows teaching grammar as isolated rules rarely helps kids apply what they learn in writing or speaking. That’s why our writing program, Lucky to Learn Writing, integrates grammar practice directly into each writing lesson. This approach makes grammar meaningful and connected to real writing.
Fun and Targeted Grammar Practice to Support Your Writing Curriculum
Toothy activities give students hands-on practice in a way that’s fun and reinforces skills taught in writing. These activities are perfect for extra practice, small groups, or interventions.

Students LOVE drawing those teeth on their Toothy mats. And, they LOVE being able to check their own answers! Remember the glorious days when the teacher would let you check your answers in the teacher’s manual?! Yep, it’s like that.

I love the concept. There are so many resources I do not know where to begin. There is a math bundle, math toothy task cards, toothy task kit mat bundle, math sheet bundle, and math kit. Plus everything else. Where do I buy first to start?
Hello Martha! This is a great question! I have two suggestions for you: 1) If you would like to dip your toes in and try Toothy, many teachers recommend the Math Toothy task cards. We also have this set for Kindergarten and 3rd grade math skills.
2) If you want to be able to grab any of our Toothy sets at any time you need them, I would recommend checking into the All Access Membership, where you can browse and instantly download any of the 25,000+ Lucky Little Learners activities! It’s an amazing value, especially if you would like to use more than one LLL resource during the school year!
