Community and Youth Project
Frazee, MN

Cornerstone is a non-profit organization that can be found in Frazee, Minnesota (Angie’s hometown). It is a safe place for kids and teens to go and hang out after school. At Cornerstone, the kids and teens have opportunities to participate in arts and music, cook healthy food, hang out with friends, get involved in the community through volunteering, learn from community leaders, and gain entrepreneurial skills.
We believe that it takes a village to raise today’s youth. We also believe that the future is in the hands of our kids. The Cornerstone organization is a crucial part of the Frazee community and our donations go directly towards programming, materials, speakers, and other opportunities for our local youth.
We are working with the youth to design and build a Little Free Library so that everyone can have 24/7 access to books. We donated $5,000 towards their capital fund to help pay for building and programming costs. We (Angie & her husband Brandon) also donate their time by volunteering.
